On May 15th, Reichert Technologies hosted a special event at their headquarters in Buffalo, for the Board of Trustees, and special award recipients of the New York State Optometric Association (NYSOA). The event was coordinated to coincide with the NYSOA Annual Congress. Twenty-one board members, four award recipients and their guests, also attended a Reichert sponsored dinner at the Buffalo Marriott following the event.
Attendees were warmly welcomed by Jerry C. Cirino, Chairman & CEO of Reichert Technologies, and given a plant tour guided by Tim Levindofske, President & COO. Reichert’s full product line was on display, and the Product Management team gave an overview of all instruments, including the industries most comprehensive line of tonometers, traditional lane products, and advanced diagnostic instruments.
The purpose of the event was to strengthen the relationship between Reichert and the NYSOA, as well as the optometric community at large, by sharing the Reichert philosophy of Advancing Eye Care, and Preserving Sight, and affirming Reichert’s commitment to bring the most technologically advanced and practice enhancing instruments available to the optometric field.
“The NYSOA was honored to be able to share our Annual Congress with Reichert,” said Jan Dorman, Executive Director. “We thank them for their extraordinary and gracious hospitality and consider Reichert a friend of organized optometry, and the NYSOA in particular.”
Reichert looks forward to strengthening their relationship with the NYSOA in the years to come, and plans to host a similar event in the near future for local Buffalo, and Rochester optometrists.
